Still, I really enjoy watching the "Laptop Hunter" ads. They're very funny, and some of the girls are cute. However, I wish the laptop hunter ads would be more honest about all that extra money PC users are saving though. I mean, that chick "Lauren" should say something along the lines of: "Wow, I saved a lot of money buying a PC. Now I have enough extra money for anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewalls, anti-adware, shop repairs (i.e. because I don't know a thing about computers), some Windows software that usually comes free on a Mac (i.e. decent word processor and many others), etc... Yeah, she should mention that, ya know? When you throw in all that crap, a Mac's about the same price, and you get more for your money with a Mac, too. Also, they should have "Lauren" try to sell her PC after a year and find out she can only get $100 for the piece of junk. Then, the Mac guy can upgrade his Mac by selling his old Mac, and the old Mac earns him $1,000 on e-bay toward his new Macintosh computer. Last, they should have Lauren build a website on her PC, and compare how long it takes her versus the guy with the Mac. Lauren should say something like, "Man, this website is taking me forever. Hey, Mac, can you build my site for me?" Mac says, "Yeah, Lauren, but it's going to cost you." Need I even mention OS X Leopard versus Windows? Okay. 'Nough said. Apple 4-EVA

p.s. Oh, I forgot. Lauren asks Mac, "Why did I have to buy Windows 7 when I already have an operating system?" Mac replies, "Oh, well, see... Vista has a lot of issues and people hate it, so you'll have to buy another operating system." Lauren finishes with, "Oh, man, I didn't save so much after all."

The statute of limitations expired a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Even bank robbery has a statute of limitations of no less than 20 years. One artifact? They're just lucky they got it back. It's good they saw the error of their ways. (more)

And, when someone has lots of money, they're more likely to abuse drugs and alcohol. Just because he's Nick Nolte doesn't mean that he's not any worse off than millions of other Americans across the country. To sit here and judge him for being a drunk or a drug addict isn't very conducive to progress. Drugs and alcohol kill rich, middle-class and poor alike. Why do we need to focus on Nick Nolte? This is exactly why famous people have to hide from the general public. They get fingers pointed at them all the time when we do the same things they do. If you're going to call him on that, why don't we start calling ourselves on fornication, adultery and other sins? Let me tell you this. The person who points his finger at another is a sinner, too. Only a fool judges, for he'll be judged as he judges. (more)

No one can tell me that the $300,000 houses today are worth any more than the $80,000 homes in the 1980s. The reason houses are more expensive now is not because they are worth more… but because the strength of the dollar is crashing. The Middle Class is slowly evaporating, and when this happens, we'll see a collapse of America altogether. The future children will wake up homeless on the same soil their forefathers conquered. In order for America to be revived, there must be a Second Revolution. The people must once again rise up against the elite and overthrow the country to create a new system of proper checks and balances with a Constitution dedicated to liberty and justice for all. The end is near when government begins buying banks and owning them. The stimulus will fail. (more)
