During his campaign, this is what he said he would do. Nobody is happy that innocent lives were lost during the missile attacks. THIS is the war he said he would fight, so this: "Thank you Barack Obama for proving the point that sometimes, war is the answer" is uncalled for.

    Your answer for yes is offensive. I suppose until you have had your own relatives and/or close friends wrongly accused and then killed for a crime, you won't feel any sympathy.     (more)

    +3 raves Yes, they are destroying our lives. I'm hopefuly that with a more hopeful outlook on life, f... Yes, they are destroying our lives. I'm hopefuly that with a more hopeful outlook on life, fewer people will turn to drugs. I truly believe that many people who become addicts are trying to escape life (if even just for a few moments) without taking their life, and end up in something way over their heads.

    I was at a conference and there was a speaker who talked about cocaine addictions. He said that the first time use of cocaine produced pleasure far behind the pleasure of orgasmic sex. People then, chase that "high" and either never reach it or overdose. I'm thinking that's what keeps so many people tied to the drug, even when they want to stop.     (more)

    +15 raves It's so crazy to me that some of hte people who have responded to this are not even addressin... It's so crazy to me that some of hte people who have responded to this are not even addressing what the article is about. Yes, his family owned slaves once. Many white families owned slaves. That's not the problem. Nobody's asking anyone to be sorry for his grandfather's horrible decisions (NO I will not call them mistakes). It's the fact that McCain won't even take part in the reunion, after he's been personally invited. It's just makes it more apparent that McCain is not interested in black people, even when they are his own relatives. The fact that the campaign even asked them to not speak about the reunions is dishonorable. Sure, I hope that all of America is ashamed of the slavery that haunts our past. However, denial is not an option. McCain is definitely a subscriber to denial. (more)
