About Me
"If I claim to be a wise man, well it surely means that I don't know"... Kansas
I try to keep a level head, my eyes and my mind open. I remind myself daily that I don't know everything as I am constantly learning. I truly believe that our universe has plenty to offer all of us, so there is no need for greed. Beneath our human facade there is a pure and unimaginable spirit.

I love how we bad mouth countries with socialized medical care, but when we go to war those same countries, Canada and England, are good enough to stand and fight along side us. (more)

His energy surrounds us and yet it's greatness is incomprehensible to our human brains. Our spirits will bathe in it once we pass into the next dimension then we will know its' glory. There can be no beginning or end to the father of all creation. (more)

(sigh) When will they learn that nobody gives a rat's A$$ what they think. They should be grateful that we go see their movies and allow them to make a very comfortable living. In fact the only thing I want to hear come out of an ACTORS mouth is what is written in the script. (more)

Not sure what the reporter's problem is but he must be crazy launching his size tens at our prez. I think it must be an American sentiment that even though we may fight with a friend or relative, no outsider is going to come along and pick on them. That's kind of how I felt when I saw the footage on the news. Do I make sense?

Hi yogi,
W.R. Monger!
i am fascinated by killer whales. they have a very complicated society. they have found different "cultures" within their spiecies. there are transients, residents and one other group that escapes me right now. they work together and teach their young and even work with humans in the wild to fish (whaling actually). they are the Alpha preditor in the ocean.
this will be a little long:
Killer Whales have been known to co-operate with humans in the hunting of whales. One well-known example occurred near the port of Eden in southeastern Australia between 1840 and 1930. A pod of Killer Whales, which included amongst its members a distinctive male called Old Tom, would assist whalers in hunting baleen whales. The Killer Whales would find the target whales, shepherd them into Twofold Bay, and then alert the whalers to their presence and often help to kill the whales. Old Tom's role was commonly to alert the human whalers to the presence of a baleen whale in the bay by breaching or tailslapping at the mouth of the Kiah River, where the Davidson family had their tiny cottages. This role endeared him to the whalers and led to the idea that he was "leader of the pack", although such a role was more likely taken by a female as is more typical in Killer Whale cultures. After the harpooning, some of the Killer Whales would even grab the ropes in their teeth and aid the whalers in hauling. The skeleton of Old Tom is on display at the Eden Killer Whale Museum, and significant wear marks still exist on his teeth from repeatedly grabbing fast-moving ropes. In return for their help, the whalers allowed the Killer Whales to eat the tongue and lips of the whale before hauling it ashore. The Killer Whales would then also feed on the many fish and birds that would show up to pick at the smaller scraps and runoff from the fishing.

Hi yogi, love Snoopy! I have to work this weekend, but it's nice anyway. My son, neighbor, and I may go out to eat after my work tomorrow. That should be nice for a change.
