    +4 raves They have more journalistic integrity than anybody on Fox and some on CNN, but they dont pretend ... They have more journalistic integrity than anybody on Fox and some on CNN, but they dont pretend to be anything more than entertainment shows- Jon Stewart repeatedly makes that clear, However, the freedom they have to report on what they want and HOW they want probably does make them one of the best news sources in this country, and doing it in an entertaining way cant hurt. News reporting in the US is in a sorry state, something Jon addressed on Crossfire during the Bush/Kerry race- as he said: a show that follows a show about glove puppets making crank calls should not even be in the running. The fact that it is is depressing to say the least.

    By the way- Stewarts' Jim Cramer interview was indeed real journalism- at its best.     (more)
