If the cost of fuel doubles because of the cap and tax at refinereies.. and we all know this will be passed directly to the consumer as are all other corporate taxes are... how much will the cost of that fuel actually increase. Say it goes up $1 per gallon.. The ripple effect is going to be catastrophic. Virtually all goods are moved by trucks.. So they will go up in price. Cost of fuel to farmers.. That will be passed to the consumers.. Cost of shipping once goods arrive from China.. Passed to consumers, Cost of heating your house.. passed to consumers cost of cooling your house passed to consumers

All of the direct and indirect trickle down $1 rippling 9 times (This is an economic fact of how many times the money turns) So I think that the real costs will be much higher. Most people currently spend about 10-15% of their incomes for energy So you can pretty well double that figure.. and come out with just how much it will affect you personally..
Example.. I Spend $200 a month on electric.. so I can expect my electric to go up 2400 a year. I spend 50 a month on Nat Gas.. so that is another 600 a year
Food figure an extra 40 a month. so.. that is 480 extra
Gasoline I have a mobile business. 250 a month so that is an extra 3000 a year..
So just the quick stuff.. Wow Cap and tax will only cost me joe average $6500 extra a year and I have gotten Zero return.. just a giant tax going out to BO and friends
Now my last question.. What do you think is going to happen when everyone starts seeing this much coming off the top of their take home pay.. Think the economy will take off and provide lots of jobs or cause the economy to tank even faster? (more) -

This oath is also taken by the Vice President, members of the Cabinet, and all other civil and military officers and federal employees other than the President. Impeachable offenses
In the United States, impeachment can occur both at the federal and state level. The Constitution defines impeachment at the federal level and limits impeachment to "The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States" who may only be impeached and removed for "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors".
High crimes and misdemeanors is a phrase from Section 4 of Article Two of the United States Constitution: "The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

The bribe is the gift bestowed to influence the recipient's conduct. I am hoping that everyone is seeing that it's not supposed to be between parties, we are about to elect our Commander in Chief, in addition to other positions, this is not suppose to be who can outdo who, but who we can Trust and feel Safe with our vote. We are going to be making a difficult choices, with one possible super party in control which leaves no checks and balances. With all the fighting about each others candidates, has anyone been looking at congress, the senate and the plans already being set in motion for what they want for us. In turn they are making plans how they are going to raise our taxes for their (not ours) choice of who, what, where and how much more they are planning to put on the tax payers backs. Then on top of that we could end up having another 9/11, where and what it will be is anyone's guess. How many lives will be lost, could it be one of your family members or someone you know? This is not a game who has the most money wins, it's a choice we are going to have to live with for the next 4 years. Pick who you honestly think will make the best decisions for you and your family. LETTER FROM THE BOSS.....
As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President, and that our taxes, and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%.
Since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me, since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.
So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lot and found six Obama bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change; I gave it to them.
I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.

City Hall tells you what color to paint your house, and what you can have in your yard, and you get mad,you could be labeled as a "right wing extremist activity," You feel that you need to take a stand for your own Beliefs either it be Christian Faith, Jewish Faith, Native American Faith, Baptist Faith, Catholic, what ever faith you practice, what you believe, you could be a "right wing extremist."

"The Proposal"
When a company falls on difficult times, one of the things that seems to happen is they reduce their staff and wo rkers. The remaining workers must find ways to continue to do a good job or risk that their job would be eliminated as well.
Wall street, and the media normally congratulate the CEO for making this type of "tough decision", and his board of directors gives him a big bonus.
Our government should not be immune from similar risks.
Therefore:
Reduce the House of Representatives from the current 435 members to 218 members.
Reduce Senate members from 100 to 50 (one per State).
Then, reduce their staff by 25%.
Accomplish this over the next 8 years
(two steps/two elections) and of course this would require some redistricting.
Some Yearly Monetary Gains Include:
$44,108,400 for elimination of base pay for congress. (267 members X $165,200 pay/member/yr.)
$97,175,000 for elimination of their staff. (estimate $1.3 Million in staff per each member of the House, and $3 Million in staff per each member of the Senate every year)
$240,294 for the reduction in remaining staff by 25%.
$7,500,000,00020reduction in pork barrel ear-marks each year. (those members whose jobs are gone. Current estimates for total government pork earmarks are at $15 Billion/yr)
The remaining representatives would need to work smarter and improve efficiencies. It might even be in their best interests to work together for the good of our country!
We may also expect that smaller committees might lead to a more efficient resolution of issues as well. It might even be easier to keep track of what your representative is doing.
Congress has more tools available to do their jobs than it had back in 1911 when the current number of representatives was established. (telephone, computers, cell phones to name a few)
Note:
Congress did not hesitate to head home when it was a holiday, when the nation needed a real fix to the economic problems. Also, we have 3 senators that have not been doing their jobs for the past 18+ months (on the campaign trail) and still they all have been accepting full pay. These facts alone support a reduction in senators & congress.
Summary of opportunity:
$ 44,108,400 reduction of congress members.
$282,100, 000 for elimination of the reduced house member staff.
$150,000, 000 for elimination of reduced senate member staff.
$59,675,000 for 25% reduction of staff for remaining house members.
$37,500,000 for 25% reduction of staff for remaining senate members.
$7,500,000,000 reduction in pork added to bills by the reduction of congress members.
$8,073,383,400 per year, estimated total savings.. (that's 8-BILLION just to start!)
Big business does these types of cuts all the time.
If Congresspersons were required to serve 20, 25 or 30 years (like everyone else) in order to collect retirement benefits, tax payers could save a bundle.
Now they get full retirement after serving only ONE term.
