About Me

I have 4 terrific kids (blessed with 2 girls & 2 guys), all married (so add 4 more people to love) and a slew of grandchildren. I thank God every day for them. Besides that I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers, we're a very close family and our Mom is 93. My husband passed away almost 3 years ago, and I really miss him. He died rather suddenly, so it's taking a long time to get over not having him with us. We had 40 years together and I have no regrets except that 40 years was not enough. I am not a die-hard Conservative, I'm moderate in my thinking....not gray, I just like to look at all sides and what God tells me in my heart.

There are some very interesting and wonderful people on SH and I am glad to have met all of you.

Activities

All kinds of things...walking, sewing, playing with the grandkids, driving, slots at the casino, going to the beach, food shopping, working with figures, visiting with my kids and their families, ebay, going out to eat, just your everyday stuff also not in that order...

Interests

Reading, politics, puzzles, children, the beach, true crime stories, history (not necessarily in that order)
and breathing---I quit smoking after 40 years.

Jazz and music I can dance to.

Favorite TV Shows

LOST, Desperate Housewives, 48 Hours Mystery, Forensic Files, Sheperd Smith on Fox.

Favorite Movies

Have to admit, I'm not a movie person, I can't sit that long. But I love comedies like the Pink Panthers with Peter Selllers and the ones with Steve Martin, Airplane, things like that. .
