    How symptomatic of the left... the steal somebody else's propaganda speak and mindlessly pass it along as the marching orders for the army of zombies!

    Well, let's take a critical look at this shall we?

    First off the sources cited; 19 source of which 12 are MoveOn's own website. That wouldn't cut the mustard for intellectual integrity in a sixth grade book report, it's insulting to offer it to America.63% of the source material is "because WE said so"??? And the 'we" in question is the most partisan hate group since Adolph and Heinrich sat down and said; "hey I've got a beer hall, let's put on a putsch!" The other 7 sources consist of 6 articles from the New York Times, an indicted perjurer and the most well known factory for fabricating lies in the Western Hemisphere. And a single piece from CNN, another of the extreme agenda leftist media. So the foundation of this whole piece is garbage and self serving propaganda.

    But let's look past that silly little fact, and chew on the meat of the matter shall we?

    1. $634 billion down payment on health care. Wrong... it's switching half that amount from private paid Medicare Advantage accounts to an as yet non-existant Government insurance program. Which incidentally cripples the two largest insurance companies in the US. Want to guess where the NEXT trillion dollar bail out is going to go?

    2. Reduces taxes for 95% of working American/no tax increase under $250,000... this has been debunked so many times it is laughable that Obama continues to bring it up, but I guess he was playing for applause, not honesty. The top 2% of earners in this country will not carry the burden of government give-away programs, and considering that the budget isn't even in yet... one wonders how Obama can make the claim that taxes won't go up. What are we buying with the money that we don't have coming in? More bail outs for AIG? At $180 billion and climbing by the hour, we are going to have to raise some capital somewhere.

    3. $100 billion for green energy which can't be outsourced. I guess workers in Mexico, India, Canada and Nigeria can't figure out how to assemble solar panels and wire wind generators right? Of course that $100 billion investment is going to provide us with an astounding 3% of our total energy needs at roughly 18 times the expense of systems that we already have online, and don't have to wait on technologies that are not even invented yet. And who are the workers that will get these entry level jobs in America that can't be outsourced? Illegla immigrants that Obama wants to allow in by the millions, because if he gives them health care and American jobs, they will illegally vote for him when coerced by ACORN.

    4. End the Iraq War. Save $10 billion per month. Let's just forget about the millions of Iraqis that are going to die in the eventual Civil War that tears that region apart. Don't concern yourself with the rise of a new Extremist Islamic Caliph that will call for jihad against the entire western world once we abandon our responsibility there... let's just talk about the money... that's the American way. $10 billion a month for even 2 years (which will be the time remaining in his term when the war ends) equals $240 billion. Which is just enough to cover the bail-out money promised the Chrysler and GM so far this year. It is not money that we save, it is the tiniest drop in what we have already borrowed, spent and wasted.

    5. Reversing income inequality. That's the core of what the Obama era is all about... lazy worthless welfare scammers wanting to get their hands on redistributed wealth. It is wrong, it is antithetical to the founding principles of our country and it will bring about the second Civil War in this country. And the thieves that propose socialist redistribution schemes will lose this time too. You won't have the white folks to be slaves just like we stopped you having the black folks last time.

    6. Closing big oil tax loopholes... Sure why don't renege on deals that have existing for decades and takeaway the incentives for exploration and development of new energy sources. Remember we have those wind farms and solar panels covering Arizona, so we don't need their stupid oil anyway. Never mind that all of those Big Oil companies happen to be foreign corporations, so these loopholes mean very little to them, while most of the stockholders are US based pension plans and investors, so all you will do is mess up a lot of people's retirements. But you do get to punish one of the "bad big businesses" which appeals to the mindless.

    7. Largest amount of help for college... from his speech we heard a figure of $450 tax credit. Per year? Per college education? Per child? Per family? Public schools? Private university? $450 would have about covered my BOOKS for one year at a state university in a professional degree program. It might have covered about one half of the duplication cost of my Master's thesis. Save the pennies folks, this is a joke.

    8. Halving the deficit by 2013... wonderful goal. Truly a wonderful goal. And how does the math work when he has already expanded our deficit by more money that the past 12 years of Presidencies and we haven't even written the checks for the $785 billion dollar "recovery act" that he has promised? Our Secretary of State is today in Beijing prostrating herself in front of the Communist Chinese authorities begging fro them to continue to buy our treasury obligations. How can we reduce the deficit when we have done almost $2 TRILLION dollars in deficit spending in the past 6 months? There is no way short of draconian reduction in government spending. Like getting rid of 75% of the government programs, payroll and staff that exist today. And while that's an appealing idea... it isn't going to happen.

    9. Dramatic amounts of money to police Wall Street... whooppee! The horse is out of the barn, stole your wallet, maxed out your credit cards, wrecked your car, raped your sister, and moved to Antigua on your retirement plan... and you want to raise funding to hire guys to investigate closing the barn doors? That's useful, that's really useful. And why bother, since the goal of Obama and his cronies is to nationalize the economy? We don't need to police the investment schemers... we are going to turn it over to the government.

    10. Telling it straight... except on that $785 billion dollar recovery act which was only available to the Congress for 6 hours in the dead of night before they voted to pass it, and not available to the public until 2 days AFTER it became law. This from the man who priomised no law would be considered until there had been at least a week of public sunshine? Obama is learning fast how to be a back room dealer and schemer on a massive scale. This is pure dishonesty.

    For those of you liberals who took the time to read this entire response- thank you. If you have the interest in forwarding this to your entire network of contacts, I encourage you to include my remarks with it, or to at least allow the conversation to be open. There are forces afoot that want to control speech. Some of those forces are behind the distribution of this email.

    Think critically people. It is the very salvation of our country that is at stake here.     (more)
