About Me

I am very open minded until anyone says that I shouldn't like something or tries to dictate my values or tries to ridicule me.

People who will do what they say and mean it. People whose word is their bond. People who share do unto others in a positive light.

Gardening, learning new things, keeping track of current events,

Guitar playing, animals, internet browsing,

Country, soul, rock and roll

The Carol Burnett Show
Alfred Hitchcock Presents

Movies with Jackie Chan
Horror Movies

Where the Red Fern Grows
The Road Less Traveled

A number of them but this one in particular.

Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality. But notice the difference: while Democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.

I have no heroes. Any ordinary citizen can be a profound hero at any time.

It should have been perfectly clear by now that you cannot talk to Ahmadmandinejad, Pigyongwang, or anyone of the like. Remember when Moammar Khadaffi was so belligerent? He changed his tune after he got a bomb by Reagan up his ass. These do gooder Liberals are hysterical in their belief that you can use diplomacy on these fools. You can but then they stall and stall and stall and stall some more.
Along comes a complete fool like Obama, who for some unknown reason thinks he can reach out to these maniacs by apologizing and insisting we are not at war with Islam. Not at war with Islam? What are we at war with then over there? The Amish? Such a fool he is. When's he gonna learn? All other leaders with any experience at all know you CANNOT talk to these people.

Candy such as the Brach selection were 2 for a penny, Coke was a nickel, cigarettes 15 cents a pack, Humongous ice cream sandwiches were 10 cents, a malt was 15 cents and then subsequent refill flavors were a nickel,, the turnstile jukebox at tables was 3 songs for a dime.
    That's enough

Also, listening to the news all the time, it seems that Christian churches are coming under attack more and more. One church it was noted that the neighbors went to the city council to have them stop ringing the chimes. It was noted that the chimes weren't any louder than the traffic in the street. It seems there is more and more harassment going on against Christians. (more)

Anyone who has studied national health care in other countries will have seen that the appeal is good at first but it spirals out of control and eventually causes more troubles, rationing, waiting times getting longer and longer, preferential treatment of lifesaving treatments and transplants denied because of age. Things such as this ultimately prove to be unworkable. For some reason though Americans are falsely building up hopes that in spite of all the past systems that failed, that if we did it under Obama it would work and be different. (more)

I am one ugly dude but if I won the lottery women would find me attractive, friends would come out of the woodwork, I woud be bombarded with requests from charities, relatives would beseech me to loan them money, people would want to talk to me that didn't know I existed.
    Sad but true.
Two brothers from Gilbert, Az. won the lottery here and the next day they saw a financial manager, got that squared away, and moved out of town. Smart move!
Charles Whitaker is an example. He won the Power Ball for 351 million. His former secretary became his handling the requests to give away money. People when he had his ditch digging business came out of the woodwork and sued him. About ten. He lost his Grand daughter to drugs on account of it. His wife said publicly she wished he would never had won because it got out of control. People are vultures when you win a lottery and I have enough problems with thinking people are sincere anyway.

THis is totally ridiculous because it is telling people that any thoughts they have, no matter how legitimate they are to them, could be criminal just by saying them. Holy Cow! Look what that could lead to. So now, as if it isn;t bad enough, this opens up a whole new class of crimes that can be punishable if you allude to someone you are biased about. Do churches no longer have the right to preach their stand against gays or will they be sued? There goes freedom of religion. Who's coming up with this shit?
Is it retroactive like Obama is opening up things about Bush and the torture? Does Jeremiah Wright get prosecuted for God damn America? How about Michelle? Maybe her thesis in college should be dredged up and her prosected for her hatred of Whites back then. What a can of worms. This is beyond any degree of unreasonableness that may have ever existed before. a censoring of the highest order.

I am wondering why he can't seem to handle what they say? I remember when Bush was being attacked relentlessly and a reporter asked him what he thought about it and Bush said "Well, they have the right to say what they want. We have freedom of speech in this country. Obama needs to do the same. If he has any class that is.
