Just take a look, this year, after a winning or idle weekend, WVU has been jumped in the polls by the likes of Florida, Oklahoma (twice), Kansas, Missouri, Oregon and California. That has only happened a few times in the top 10 this year to all other teams combined. WVU lost to South Florida by a touchdown in Tampa, but Oklahoma lost to a terrible (unranked) Colorado team, then Jumped WVU again in the polls only to lose again. If the polling wasn't biased against teams who haven't won a national championship in the past five years, WVU would be number two, right behind an unbeaten Kansas. (more)
