  • Who blocked you? Which blog were you blocked from? If that person has not blocked me, I will post a comment in that blog on your behalf, but then I will probably get blocked too. But I don't mind. Anyone who stoops so low as to block others' free speech is not someone with whom I care to communicate anyway.

I think people who block others from replying show their contempt for justice. Whenever I find someone has blocked me, I block them in return, but I don't think I am being unfair.

By the way, aren't you the person who just complained about my language on another conversation topic?

    June 16, 2009 02:44:43 | See Conversation
  • I can't reply because the coward that posted this blog blocked me for having an opinion...I didn't curse, like you did, and I didn't yell at anyone. We were debating and he butted in and blocked me like the coward he is...

It's not me I worry about reading your filthy language, it's the kids that come on here...so stop being a baby and watch you language for them, not me, I could care less.

  • Howard..talking peace is a real downer..it's like watching colors fade.
I of course want peace, but I like a little controversy as well..I got a lot of humorous war stories I can relate...you know WW2 wasn't all that somber, all the time..There were times during utter boredom..that funny things occurred...call it lunacy, or a distraction..but it was a relief from sadness. They even made a Musical of "Tales of the South Pacific" Remember that one...and peace finally ensued..so maybe it was the ridiculous that made it happen.

  • This is a pretty cool movie so far. I'm at, "He's saying that life is bullshit, and it is, so what are you screaming about?" Nice.

  • Thanks Jane. These days I really don't feel that belonging to any group is much of a help in advancing the cause of world peace. One of my good friends and fellow promoter of peace has been urging me to get on FaceBook for a long time now, but I have declined. Every peace-oriented group I have come across so far is little more than a (virtual or actual) place for peace-minded people to gather, who spend their time preaching to the choir. To quote Rita Mae Brown, "Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results." So what I am doing now may or may not actually have a positive effect, but having never done this experiment before, I do not yet know its outcome. I do, however, know the outcome of hanging around with like minded people and preaching to the choir. So I much appreciate your invitation, however, I respectully decline. Instead, I will continue my current lone-wolf course of action.

    Peace

  • Good to reconnect with you. I have way too many groups and have been deleting my membership from some. I prefer my focus to be on World Peace and how we get there. Many of us are at Facebook and we have a SH group (family) there, too. Don Odom (Geezertalk) invited me there. MOM, BenTwig, Jcap, Saouise, Chief Cat -COB, and Twobears, and others. I will figure out how to invite you there to this network or I'll ask Geezertalk to help me. My sole intent is to orgainize a mass movement or get us all together (in peace movement) for we are too scattered. We ARE coming together, but I think we can get more momentum IF we can just write a Blueprint, organize, set tasks, set organizational criteria, Plan actions, etc. Are you interested? You are a good one to join us. Peace. I am also not too sure of who the truly serious ones are and just who among us will be relied upon for Leadership (which MUST be IMPECCABLY Ethical). Thanks for your kind words and meaningful comments to me regarding this, my life's work. Jane

Really. Why did it take this long to figure it out?

It goes to show what can be done when a government decides to use the tax money it collects from its citizens for the good of the citizens instead of empire-building.

Do you think if maybe we asked our senators and congress representatives real politely to please stop spending money on invading foreign countries and spend it instead on Internet and/or health care for citizens they might listen to us? Well, neither did I. But we ought to bloody well outright demand it.

On the other hand, in the case of humans, it is definitely true. Just look at the situation of America. Freedom to Fascism, all in little tiny increments, so small that most Americans never even noticed them, let alone consider them impotant enough to get mad about. And what do you know, the journey is nearly over. I believe that the system we live under today has truly penetrated into the nether zone of what can be called Fascism.

I just got through watching an action film in which at least 20 or 30 people died (lost count after 8). Are you trying to tell me those deaths were FAKED! Naw, couldn't be. I saw the knife go right through that guy, I saw the blood gushing out, I saw another guy get thrown off a 50 story building, I saw another get blown to bits by a bomb. You can't tell me those were faked. I saw them with my own eyes, right there on my trusty telly screen.

I believe my telly. It is the only thing in this world that we can trust. Right?
