  nobody ever said life was fair and it ain't but we gotta take care of ourselves...our country is changing and it's for the better...when there are changes you always have the storm the form and the norm.....right now i guess we are in the storm....a black prez is big change so it's big storm but people of color and diff. ethnic backgrounds maybe at least have hope now ...i lived in chas. sc for 13 years and i swear to God if they could people in chas. would still have slaves...that's the general attitude there and we may never see it but as these old farts die out maybe the attitude will...this is my observation and maybe it's jaded because i am white but i ain't blind or stupid either...have a blessed day and we have to learn to love each other because we are all as individuals a spark of the whole body of God....donna

He could have come in and not ridiculed the very country he is supposed to lead, supported our military (who are only doing what they are told by Congress) and offered solutions that would cross all races but he didn't. I am not a Republican I am a conservative. I think birthers are out of line but I love to see the peaceful protest of what you like to call teabaggers. The KKK and neo-nazi's have nothing to do with conservatism like I would hope the black panthers and Acorn have nothing to do with good black people. What has the Christian right done to you. I thought black were God-fearing bible loving people. I guess not after hearing the hate speech of the Reverand Wright. Is that what you are preaching in your churches now? I am proud to be an American not a white American but I will not let my race be destroyed by non-stereotypical hate speech from anyone. Lastly, if your race and hate groups are thinking of starting a race war I would highly advise against it. Blacks are not only stigmatized by many whites but by asians, indians and foreigners. Look at your behavior, the inner cities and our public schools. You should be ashamed. Whites are tolerant even timid but when you see violent white you see a very small minority of our race. 50% of black men between the ages of 18-30 have felony convictions. Why is this? Don't blame your behavior on anyone but yourselves. You have only yourselves to blame. Like Muslim Americans who are not violent, we need black American to step up and educate the rest and attempt to integrate themselves into society as a whole instead of demanding it's my way or else.

  T, you are so right about everything that you say. I agree with you 100% I think they are frightened of black people in general because of the wrongs of the past and present. Talk about white guilt, I think they all have it.They take it out on use in anger because its eating them up inside.
