About Me

Retired Air Force with 27 yrs service. Ten yrs overseas w/2 in Far East, 6 in Europe, and 2 on the Arctic Circle. Pro-life and lean to the Right. I enjoy civil discourse and believe foul mouths usually have foul minds. If a person has to resort to personal attacks or obscenities they are either vulgar, ignorant or both, and often deserve to be blocked. Which, I will do, not for disagreeing but for their lowering the discourse. I subscribe to the concept that the best defense is a good offense both as an individual and as a nation.

Interests

Interacting with family,bicycling, working out (Gold's gym), Back when dirt was young I studied karate in Tokyo and was awarded a Nidan in Shudokan karate and a Shodan in Goshin-Jitsu-No-Kata. I opened the first commercial karate dojo in central Texas in 1961 which paid for college. I still like to practice karate in private, Love to watch the martial arts(too old to personally compete anymore), Politics. I thrive on civil discourse but prefer to discuss rather than debate.

You asked me about Bowkers lecture. For some reason it would not let me answer on the page.

Sorry, we have battled many times, many places. He will pull a comment down if some one really puts it to him. That wipes out his comment and all responses to him. He said planes were not super sonic when they definitely were, misstatements about ICBM's, air to air missles, etc. Clearly things some one with 20 plus years would know.

Where were you in the Arctic? I have been up to Barrow and went to Kaktovik to see polar bears. The radars are gone from Kaktovik but I saw pictures of how they towered over the town.
