  • Why is everyone making this a race issue. I am a woman I have never made it a sex issue. I find it amazing that all of Obama's supporters are making this into a rase issue. I am voting for McCain simply becuse I fear Obama taking office. He is not inocent. He has been linked to many, let me repeat many terrorist organizations, he has never held a "real" job, when some how got elected as a senator he voted present on the grand majority of bills (which means diddly squat). Because of his friends and past connections i don't even believe that he is allowed by US law to have top secret clearance. Oh and needless to say, i am also a nurse and it sickens me that the American Nurses Association backs Obama. His view are socialistic and he will try to bring about socialized health care if elected. which means that if you need a surgery you will be able to get it no matter your ability to pay but you are put on a list that could be hundred of names long so I hope that you are not in any pain. Socialism will be our down fall.

  • Oh one more thing, this is politics...no onw really knows all the dirt that goes on behind closed doors, there are people that are paid to dig up dirt on both of these presidential candidates so guilt by associtaion should automatically be thrown out the window, because they both were associates with some shady people, but just because I am friends with a pot head does not mean that I am a pot head. Okay I digress

  • quite an interesting take on this, but you are wrong, obama is more of the same. he's said implicitly that he is not going to really change anything inpeticular... not to mention he too is plagued by dirty politics. You can think of MCCain for what you will, it is obvious you are jaded and an obama lemming... If you really want change, then you are going to need to vote outside the two party system, because parading the better of two morons in this system is not working, and this much is very obvious.

Yes it is absolutely a crisis, maybe not full blown but well on our way to financial shutdown. Its starting to effect more and more people as the domino effect continues. And the auto industry was one of the first ones to feel the impact of this, starting a few years ago. Ill try to break it down the best i can. Using the equal lending opportunity and coupling it with affirmative action, democrats made lending companies give high risk loans in low income slums knowing that those people could not pay it back. (for houses, cars, college, and whatever else) The lenders were counting on the housing market, but as that started to fail because so many people had gotten homes that they couldn't afford, the lenders could no longer rely on the house if they didn't pay the loan because the house was worth less than the loan given. See the dilemma. Not to mention the morons that were stating to the owners of the lending companies that they were making record profits so then they would get a substantial bonus every quarter. When really they were having record losses! losers!! And what about all the money given to obamas campaign from fannie and freddie, and the sum they paid obama and 5 others to keep his mouth shut about some hush-hush things..... now.....we...the hard working bloodline of the economy, they people who pay all there bills, have to pay for everyone else that cant pay for themselves.......im into independent financial responsibility....why do i have to pick up th pieces for the less fortunate.....im into charity, but not that kind. Sounds to much like SOCIALISM, and i cant believe were buying into it. (more)

Like how Obama cheated the system to get his multi-million $ house with help from Tony Rezko. who is now going to jail, or Obama's participation in a antisemitic/ racist church for 20 years, but says he didn't think that was going on , even though there is video and audio to prove it. Or how McCain was part of the keating five, the savings and loan scandle. Or how Obama was buddy buddy with convicted felon Bill Ayers, who by the way tried to blow up the pentagon on a few occasions and numerous other dirty deeds and still to this day thinks he did nothing wrong. The list goes on and on and on.......and it goes on and on with lies and distorted facts from BOTH SIDES .but in that list you will find not one thing that Obama has actually done while he was in the senate that makes him qualified for president. . the only qualification he has to be president is that he got elected by the people for the democratic party, and like Hillary Clinton said "a speech he gave". anybody wants to prove me wrong you can do what you like but you will not like what you get. I'm more worried about who is going to cheat this great country,Im not in love with mccain either but we know McCain loves this country because his military and political record shows it, also Palin shows that in her short time as Governor she actually accomplished something, and does the "change" that obama only talks about. she actulally went against washington already in her short term. I agree with most liberals out there in that she is not ready to become the vice president, she is only as qualified as obama is......and hes running for president!!! Obama........... Again he has not done one single thing since becoming a senator, hasn't created one job, hasn't passed a new bill worth talking about (like most in the senate), voted "present" 85% of the time in senate, Looks like he cant make up his mind who he is( just what we need as a president, HAHAHA!) ,and when he did vote he was the most liberal voter in the senate, right in front of ted Kennedy and his running mate Joe Biden. One thing he does like all politician is that he keeps making promises that he knows he wont keep, and the American people eat it up like bum picking through a garbage can. I say show me the money! give facts! don't just speak in terms of propaganda. ON BOTH SIDES.
