Have you thought about contacting any church youth groups or youth choirs in general. Seems to me that all it would take is for him to spend some time with someone who is equally talented that writes music. I'm sure they could come up with some beautiful songs, even if they are just done on the computer at first....burn some copies and start sending them off.
