Some of their eyes were watering. One dude wrapped his shirt over his mouth. I thought that was the longest ride ever in an elevator. That was until two years ago I visited Chicago and the Hancock building. Yeah, I'm not too popular in elevators. (more)

I know, I sound like some insensative prick, but animal testing is the foundation of not only the cosmetic industry as well as the pharmaceutical industry. I would rather them test it on an animal and find out any side reactions then have me be the first "guinea pig". (more)

My mother went and moved in with another woman, her new lover. My father was a complete wreck. I was left to raise my brother and sister. All this pressure helped me down the wrong path. I joined a gang in downtown Cleveland. Gun fights, knife fights and all sorts of violence. The day in question I had been in a fight over something I cannot remember, but the other gang brought automatic weapons. I held my best friend in my arms while he died. The cop standing over me told me "If you keep this crap up you'll be dead by 15". In that moment I reevaluated my life and was never the same again. (more)
