I answered it to the best of my ability & when that wasn't up to HIS STANDARDS (like they are SO important) I let him know what he can do w/ himself. & His little bottom butt buddy, Morris, came to his defense, because his lover's feelings were hurt. Good for you for being one of the people able to admit when you don't know something. My parents taught me that too.
As to the crawdad. It's this area, and all the rain this year. My neighbor told me that now it's not raining so much, pretty soon,the crawdad will move back to the creek that runs thru my acreage and I won't have to worry so much.
I've thought about using some kind of pest control. However, I do believe God made all creatures for a reason, and each helps the natural balance. I am not a fanatic about never killing. I spray for ants and roaches. But if I can, I let things live, to do what God made 'em for. My neighbor says the crawdads help keep the frogs under control while they are still tadpoles. So...
Yeah, you'll get those know-it-alls here on SH. But really, most SodaHeads are not like that.
And back to the crawdad. Actually, I wish I'd had the camera ready when the puppy found that thing. It really was a hoot.
