About Me: The McDonald's Olympic Champion Crew, a group of 1,400 employees chosen from more than 40 countries to experience the games from the front lines.
The workers are nominated and selected among 77,000 McDonald's employees across Canada, based on four criteria: teamwork, speed of service, order accuracy and customer service. The other chosen Canadians include employees from Uxbridge, Toronto and Quebec.
McDonald's, a top global sponsor and official restaurant of the Olympics, will cover the flight expenses for the six chosen workers who will stay in Beijing for 10 days.
When they're not watching the games, they will work six-hour shifts, serving the world's best athletes, officials, media and spectators.
