About Me
I have 80% hearing loss, a music related injury. Most people sell their souls for rock and roll, I did the Beethoven deal. I can "hear" the drums and bass, so if you send me any videos, please accompany them with lyrics so I can sing along!!!
I served in the US Army with the 82nd Airborne Signal Corps, Ft Hood Tx. I "toured" Panama and found it to be a beautiful country.
I have four wonderful children, 12, 10, 5 and 3. I have two home businesses and my wife is a labor nurse at our local hospital. We live in a small town in the central coast area of California.

+6 raves I was diagnosed with "highly functional" autism when I was five. My mother enrolled me ... I was diagnosed with "highly functional" autism when I was five. My mother enrolled me in a puppet theater group at our community college. I discovered that acting allowed a person to be someone else and I fell in love with theater. By using plays, dance and TV, I was able to re-direct that signals in my brain that would normally( for a person with Asperger's) miss or ignore the social and non-verbal cues to respond in a more socially appropriate manner. I appear to be slightly shy, but I do not suffer from the extreme social troubles, compulsive behaviors or any communication problems associated with Asperger's. It wasn't until I met the Doctor that diagnosed me that I knew I had any difficulties as a child. When I was three years old, I stopped talking for two years, wouldn't respond to my parents and played the drums on the pots and pans at odd intervals during the day. I give credit to theater for giving me a different approach to communication. Drama geeks unite!!! (more)

I believe that most people do not have hate, but their insecurities, past experiences and ignorance limits how well they are able/willing to have an understanding of who it is they claim to hate. This limited understanding is frustrating and is expressed as anger which in turn is justified as hate.
For example, I do not know Mr. Cheney, I have no way of meeting him, and my experiences are that he does evil things in the name of America. This frustrates me because I can not understand why anyone would do such things. I am angry that I will never understand and I hate him for doing the things he has done. As for violence, I would not hurt him as his actions have not directly effected my family, only indirectly by ignoring pre 9/11 intelligence on bin Laden, which caused the death of an extended family member.
If someone was to commit an act of violence against my family intetionally, I probably resort to violence without hesitation, but I was raised in a time and place where violence was an acceptable reaction. People didn't use guns, just fists and the occasional knife. Nor did they sue for damages or get their friends to do a drive-by shooting.

I've been really busy working on becoming a Minister! Yes I said "A MINISTER!" It is not easy to do all that studying! LOL But I am getting the grade… and if all goes well I will be working hard at doing the Lords Work. But I will still be hanging around SodaHead and stopping in from time to time. I love you all and wishing you all blessings. I am now in the process of changing my profile to better reflect the new and improved me in the Lord.
