Come on, John McCain could've won, he couldn've put up a hell more of a fight then he did, instead he wussied out from hitting Obama where it counted, then turned on Palin because for one thing she was gaining more of a base then him, and second because she was rocking the boat for his "Moderate" base, she was drawing a line in the sand and true conservitives were overjoyed that someone had the hutspa to follow through, so she had to go. McCain wanted to be part of Obama's cabinate later on, that shows you where his mind was. When it looked bleak, but not over, he did what he did best, threw in the towel to please everyone. Palin got screwed over for being the only one willing not to go down without a fight through numerous over the top attacks and accusations that honestly made no sense, and almost more so on her family, while her own party stood by and watched, and she has a right to be pissed.
