People who are tired of shopping, people who just let it all hang out even if they offend me sometimes, people who know who John Sayles is, people who collect things, people who work with their hands, people who are better cooks than I - about 90% of the population.
Activities
All things crafty, artsy-fartsy, chocolately, film-related, literary.
Interests
Knitting, film, crocheting, literature, needlepoint, all kinds of music - basically good music is the genre I like, painting, art history, chocolate, action movies, reading, walking late at night when everyone else is asleep
Favorite Music
I just dig good music. That's really all I care about. Still love The Stones after all these years. Elvis was my first love. Can't beat Tom Petty with a stick. Mary J Blige is the stuff. Duffy and Michael Buble are to die for. I've partied to KISS; thank God, there were no camera phones then. "Classical" music is perfect while writing, painting, and making whoopee. Grieving Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, and Patsy Cline to this day. Jonell Mosser and I attended college together, and I am mystified why she isn't a superstar. Dwight Yoakam can twang like no one else. Bob Dylan is proof that the Earth is overall a friendly place. The Band changed my life! Long live Levon Helm. Yes, I danced to K.C. and the Sunshine Band in the 70s.

The cracks are deep and growing. Now the cities are enforcing water restrictions, and the possibility of grass fires threatening homes are very real. It's always something.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I will be gearing up this weekend for the deluge of company next week. I don't do Black Friday, so I just rest and start decorating that day.
