ACTIVITIES: Work, travel, work, drink, work, lounge on my porch, work, lift weights, work, cook, work, shop....oh and did I mention WORK?

MY INTERESTS: Anything fun, fast, and a little bit dangerous. But...I also like to cuddle. :]

FAV MUSIC: Pretty much anything. If it sounds good, I'll dig it. It just depends on what mood I'm in. DO have an affinity for old blues, hip-hop, and groove.

  • Why is cutting so "wrong"?

    +21 raves Look.... we get that it's "your body" and "you'll do with it what you want" and that you do it to... Look.... we get that it's "your body" and "you'll do with it what you want" and that you do it to "feel something other than what you feel now". But, IMO, it's a selfish and pointless act.

    You don't care that it hurts the people that care about you everytime they see it. Or that you permenantly hinder any hope of dealing with the issues that are the root of your pain. Because whenever the road to recovery gets tough, and it WILL get hard as F*CK, you'll have a reminder of your "easy solution". It also contributes to a negative self-image which only exhasperates your feelings of "ugliness. Both physically and emotionally.

    It's about instant gratification without any regards to future consequences, which carries over into all your decisions. This can include drugs, alcohol, sexual partners, carreer paths, etc., etc.

    You want to express pain? Do it vocally. Talk to somebody, or use your pain to help others in a similiar sitiuations deal with theirs. Or put it in the form of song, writing, build something, whatever. But grabbing a knife is an idiotic decision, regardless of how benign you might think it is.     (more)

  • Which is the Worst era in music?

    +5 raves It's sad how much of today's music is "production" based and how far performers... It's sad how much of today's music is "production" based and how far performers can go without any real talent other than being attractive and having no morals. They don't even seem to try anymore. There are a few groups that do have talent but they get in NO WAY as much promotion or opportunities. Turn on any radio station and see if you can tell the difference of many of the songs. (more)
