Although the Beatles were struggling to stay together anyway as each member wanted to do more- certainly George wanted to take the lead on more songs, John was getting more involved in the global affairs of the time and Paul was juggling his relationship out of work with his committment to the group- Yoko Ono was just what the band didn't need. Her regular attendance of recording sessions and her insufferable insistance on adding her 2 pence into every decision making process caused such a problem, Paul walked out. It is arguable that she is directly responsible for the break up of the Beatles.
What's more, a few years ago she decided to auction off the Beatles songs that John had left- even though Paul had written most of them and contributed to practically all of them, she didn't give them to him... she sold them. To Michael Jackson. Then kept the money... it didn't even go to a charity. She didn't contribute to the Beatles at all but has profitted from them. She also doesn't recognise Jullian Lennon's entitlement to his father's estate even though he bears his father's name and was the first born of John's sons.
She calls herself an artist. A piss artist, maybe. (more)
