My guess is,, since your ruled by the sign of Mercury/Virgin.. your totem would be a hawk.... but you dont usually choose your totem it chooses you.. so its just a guess.

hmm I believe ravens symbolize darkness, just as in Poe's poem , The Raven. These are birds that observe, as if learching for their next victim. They can be wily and scary.
