She looks a certain way, has a demeanor which sells and everything (music wise) can be over produced, made to sound perfect and edited to make the package that her producers are selling. Put her on a stage, with a live audience and a hand selected group of studio "gunslingers" and it's a whole other story, which often is not pretty.
