I'm going to be 18 in 8 days. Doesn't feel like a big deal though. Birthdays don't feel like a big deal to me anymore. I mean, it's just another day right?
I've been busy home recording songs these past few days. No idea how to get them on here though, sorry. The one I did today sounds okay, bit dodgy in places. I got too tired to care about every single thing in the end, so I just left it. According to my brother, my songs are "weird, but I like it." I feel more at peace now. Writing songs gets me through things. It helps me work things out in my head.

Yeah, I checked out Nick Drake and he is incredible. The lyrics are so simple, but they have so much behind them. Have you ever heard of Elliott Smith? You might like some of his stuff. Try out his album Either/Or. It was the first one I got.

Why depressed? I'm not feeling too happy-happy-joy-joy myself...just stupid, stupid things. Plus, I'm prone to feeling this way over things like this. Can pm me if you want.
