If you disagree with this policy, (admittedly, far more often used by conservatives, and I don't say that *because* i'm a liberal, it's just the truth.) or are for that reform, or against this war, or.. whatever, suddenly you're unpatriotic.     Against that argument many Christians will often say something like "Oh, what about gravity, or the wind." but these are also measurable effects, even though we cant see them with the naked eye. God has absolutely no defining, measurable effect, and given the time line that his religion cropped up in and how heavily it borrowed from other older ones, its not unreasonable to assert he is a figment of the imagination.

    What proves the tooth fairy doesn't exist?

    What proves Santa doesn't exist?

    What proves Legolas from LOTR doesn't exist?

    What proves Thor doesn't exist?


    These are the same questions as "What Proves God doesn't exist?".

    Ultimately you can't prove or disprove any of them, can you? But we all know that none of them really exist because of how we perceive reality, and what is reasonably possible and what isn't.     (more)
