About Me

The Mother of 6 ,4 belong to me and 2 step daughters. Don't see as them as "Step" children though, got them when they were 6 & 7 and they are 24 & 25 now. Married for 15 years and together for 18 years. 3 girls & 3 boys. I feel very privileged to be a "stay home Mom". My husband is an excellent provider, even through these hard times. So I get to stay at home and raise and play with my kids! I love to play! I wouldn't want it any other way! I like being outdoors, my favortie place in next to water, so , that is where we spend most of the time, when there is no school. When there is school, I am either volunteering my time to the schools and children or close to water.

I am always looking, thinking and working to make this world a better place for all. I Love meditation and contemplation of the "meaning of life and there after" and the journey that we are all on, where we are supposed to be, and the direction in which we are headed. I feel this desire to move mountains and leave mole hills , mole hills. I gravitate towards those that carry an emotional intellect.I have an incredibly hard time being patient with superficial “energy”, I see it as a waste of my time. I feel deeply connected to humanity and have a tendency to be very idealistic. I feel there are a lot of people have their priorties in the wrong place. I Pray for healing, prosperity and compassion for all living beings, including the earth. We are very out of balance as a collective consciousness.

Oh yes can't forget Music, food for my soul! I am collective when it comes to music, I like a lot of everything.

    +4 raves I admire those who would like "affordable housing" for the “poor or lower middle class&... I admire those who would like "affordable housing" for the “poor or lower middle class" whom other wise wouldn't be able to afford homeownership.( NOTHING ABOUT THIS CRISIS IS AFFORDABLE) EVERYONE wants the “American Dream”! The way they went about it is disturbing to say the least! NOW they want us Taxpayers to bail them out!


    I live in a small town population approx. 15,000 @ most! When the housing boom went crazy we (my small community) had these people (poor- lower middle class) in $800,000 homes! Even track homes that were built back in the 50s were going for $500,000.What? ( I rented one of these homes before we were a home owner and the damn house sold for $114,000 11 years ago )Now one out of four houses are back up for sale and the value of these houses have decreased by hundreds of thousands. What used to be $800,000 are now $300,000 - $400,000. Far more reasonable! STILL OVERPRICED!

    I knew it was only a matter of time that this problem was going to happen. Especially here in CA. where housing is ALWAYS over priced. These same sort of homes go for about $100,000- $250,000 in surrounding states. They are nothing more then spruced up track homes......

    They have a program in CA to help people in lower income brackets where the housing is FAR more affordable and SUCCESSFUL. It's called SWEAT EQUITY! The problem with this government subsidized housing is that they targeted immigrants (illegal’s or not). Only two out of the seventy homes that were built by the homebuyers went into foreclosure. They HAD to live in these homes for at least 7 years and they COULD NOT be sold to an investor or someone who did NOT fall into the annual income bracket of which the houses were built for. Nor could they mark up the value of these homes for the gain of gross profit, if they chose to sell them after 7 years.

    The lenders ought to be ashamed of themselves for allowing these people false hope and NOT disclosing what an ARM loan meant for them. They were giving these folks 100% financing on these homes. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what was going to happen to these houses, banks who loaned the money and people who were trying to buy them. I guess the excitement of the prospect of being a homeowner outweighed the sensible, realistic, reasonable and RESPOSIBLE thing to do. It’s a sad state of affairs. It’s NOT just my community that this has happened to, it’s ALL OVER THE U.S.

It is quite evident that there has been racial bias in this primary. It clearly has become a black and white issue for some but ,I also think not in it's entirety.
    Is it hard to believe that some may be voting for the hope that "change" is truly possible? Or How about some just feel as though Barack is not electable as he does not have the qualifications or the experience to be POTUS where as Hillary has a long history in politics that would make her more electable?

    Never the less I think it is sad that we have regressed 50 years. Call me naive if you will but I thought we have come a lot further then we have. I am aware that there will ALWAYS be bigotry to some extent, period, for one reason or another. Racism isn’t limited to the shade of our skin. It also includes religion, sexual orientation, gender, cliques and so on and so forth. I don’t think it will ever be TOTALLY eradicated as people seem to identify with those who are like them, based on the example listed above. Only when we can acknowledge that diversity and individuality is what makes life and living unique and interesting in addition there is the necessity to agree that we will not always agree with a required ability to accept diversity for what it is ,there will ALWAYS be segregation and racism of some sort.
