The excuses were too much: they said if he was on a jihad, it was because the pressure of being Muslim in the Army drove him insane. Now, if I were Muslim, I'd be insulted by the implication only a madman would fight for Allah. On the other hand, they implied name calling was the trigger behind his trigger. And then they said he was just a loser and a poor performer and thus crazy enough to murder our people.

    They absolutely will not admit the obvious: Hasan is a Muslim and be believes his duty as a Muslim is to kill anyone at war with Muslims. Perhaps there are many Muslims who don't think they need to kill us just because we're killing them, I don't know. But political correctness killed those Ft Hood people just the same as did the Hasan. No one in authority will see that truth so lets hope beyond all hope that there aren't any Hasan's manning a nuclear missile facility. Or a poison gas factory.

    The only thing crazy about Hasan is his failure to realize that Obama will hand them whats left of the USA without a shot being fired. He musta acted alone or didn't get the memo on that one.     (more)

One of my closest friends, and a very intelligent dude without considering his leftism, has always insisted we pay more in taxes. He believes in all the leftist garbage about global warming, government intervention into our lives, unions and the practically suicidal adherence to the pursuit of social justice.

    He says they need the tax revenue to pay for roads and schools. How can you argue with simple logic? Its like telling a little kid he can't jump off the roof of the house and fly like a bird.     (more)

If you are stuck with a .410 as the only pick you have for deer hunting, you could just use pistol or bow techniques like getting in around 40 yards and waiting for a great angle.

    I know some big fans of .410. This one guy has an H&R; thats rifled and fires 45LC and .410. It costs just a couple hundred and he swears it'll defend against snakes, crack smoking ex- linebackers and still hunt bear. Course, I'd use that 45 to hunt before I fire a 410 slug. Even rifled, I am concerned about its powder keg.     (more)

    With oil revenues down, and his home promises falling flat, Chavez's influence was plummeting. But now, our Obama has recognized him as someone who can insult the USA not only with impunity but with the apparent result of forcing the US President to bend over and kiss his ass on film and before the entire world. Its little wonder Hugo is grinning.
