The Dark Side
There was a light and a dark side in an average man’s soul.
They tried to kill the dark side and it took control.
Feeling no love for family or fellow man.
The fire of hell in his eyes and a knife in his hand.
The people who loved him tried to kill his dark side.
His evil took over and they had to die.
He couldn’t live with half of a soul.
He went insane because he wasn’t whole.
He kills while they scream.
He laughs at their pain.
His lover is death.
Blood is the rain.
Hell is his mother.
It burns in his eyes.
Live with half of a soul and you’re living to die.

His family has fallen, their blood on his blade.
They’ve reapt the harvest of the man they have made.
Alone in the darkness with death in his face,
He laughs an evil shrill that cannot be erased.
He looks into the mirror,
Into half of a man’s eyes.
His face fills with horror,
His sins realized.
With no one to love and one man to hate,
The blade in his hand must now be his fate.

He kills while they scream.
He laughs at their pain.
