We're seeing a lot of talk of Political correctness on SH and in the media these days over this event. I think something a lot of people need to keep in mind is that the opposite of political correctness is fanatical hysteria, which there seems to be an abundance of on this site. Like always the real story is going to be somewhere in the middle of these two extremes. This was one of the bad guys, no doubt. There is no excuse for him, he was a terrorist and the enemy that our military has sworn to fight. But he was ONE and does not represent all Muslims anymore than the Christians who protest military funerals becasue there are gays in America represent all Christians.
Obama is not to blame for this event any more than Bush was to blame for Katrina.
We're dealing with one soldier of the enemy army, not a product of the system. (more) -

I mean what Obama is doing is trying to fix what Bush broke, McCain would have been in the same situation and would have had to take some similar drastic measure.

He is one of the many super star talking heads that obviously caved to producers demands and started towing the network line instead of giving real opinions.
This whole thing where he is ranting about how Obama is serving black America and putting whited aside is just dangerous and should be considered hate speech (if there is such a thing). I mean we have people like Beck that say we're living in a post racial American at the same time they are saying Obama is a racist and discriminating whites.
It's all dangerous racist propaganda. I thought Bush was embarrassing for America, the new KKK that is the right wing media is both embarrassing and scary. (more) -

Why does the GOP constantly politicize everything? They have turned Christmas into a political attack, MLK into a political attack, Christianity into a political attack.
