About Me

I'm everything and nothing. Honestly there are so many sides to me and so many pieces that fit together to make who I am that people can know me for years and never see the big picture. That said, I know who I am, I love who I am, though I'll be the first to point out my flaws and laugh at myself. Like a song says, 32 flavors and then some...

ACCOMPLISHMENTS ON SH:

"Blocked" Badges of Honor I wear proudly! (I'm blocked by the following)

Judge Mental / PLANETEATER

Bob Blais

Jincks013

And counting, I'm sure! I missed some. Let me know if you block me so I can add it! :D

My future self. But that would probably mess up the time-space continuum.

Writing, drawing, role-playing (written), cooking, costume-making, designing various crafts which I soon lose interest in, fishing, camping, dressing weird, being generally strange.

Animals, mostly. They're usually better than humans. Art, good stories, fantasy, typical geekery, certain video games, great food, Rock Band, costumes...

Oh, and my hubby. I'm still quite and very interested in him. :D

Rock, far above any other genre. I also enjoy Celtic music, some Metal, Goth-Rock, and a few songs in various other categories.

I hate, hate, HATE 99% of all country and hip-hop. Unless, of course, the song is funny.

Non-animated: Supernatural, BSG, The Office, Smallville, Firefly. I hate most reality shows. If I want reality, I'll sit here and stare at my own life.

Animated: Death Note, Blood+, Bleach, Naruto (yes, I'm a mild Narutard), Full Metal Panic (all), Ergo Proxy, Witchblade, Pani Poni Dash, InuYasha, Wolf's Rain, Chrno Crusade, Tekkaman... I can go on and on but I'll stop. I love anime, you get the idea.

LOTR (entire trilogy), POTC (all), Office Space, Elizabethtown, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, The Crow, Iron Man, FFVII: Advent Children, Spiderman (all three), Batman Begins, House of Flying Daggers, Grave of the Fireflies, Serenity, The Fountain...

I know I'm forgetting a ton.

The Noble Dead series by Barb and J.C. Hendee, The Giver by Lois Lowry, certain books of the Dragonlance saga, and the Sir Apropos of Nothing series by Peter David, to name those currently on my mind.

Jesus. It takes more than I have to die for people who mostly hate you.

After all, if sex was for procreation only, God would not have made the human body able to enjoy it after the time for procreation has passed. Also, women would not have clits or orgasms (and some religious males of the belief that women are a man's servant would have you believe they DON'T) and places like nipples would not be erogenous zones able to enhance sexual pleasure.

I don't believe one can use sex to become something divine (or one with the divine) but I do believe sensuality and spiritual health can go hand in hand. I tried to repress myself for a long time under the typical Christian "guilt" over sexual desires, and I was miserable. Yet as with many things, I found that man's own ideals have corrupted parts of the religion into something that wasn't meant to be, so I changed and am much happier for it, and I no longer care who disagrees.

    Sex is awesome... :D

Then, if he's still alive, well... we'd see.

At least McCain HAS a voting record. But I'd love to see a viable third party arise at some point. This D vs R crap is getting old, and the democratic party seems hellbent on saying, "if you don't like Obama, your vote doesn't even count."

Maybe I'm just tired and cynical, but if Obama is elected, I am going to throw a "Farewell, nice knowing you" party for the country.

Right now, I vote for bed. Bed always has my best interest at heart.
