About Me

I own a small, award winning advertising agency. We produce all types of advertising including television, radio, outdoor, magazine, interactive, etc., for a variety of clients. Clients have included national and international. We have an in-house recording studio and video editing suite using industry standard software -- Pro Tools, Avid Media Composer, Softimage|XSI, etc.
An artist since I was about nine years old when I began to draw caricatures of muscle cars and building model cars as a hobby.
I also play guitar and drums and I enjoy recording in my studio, which was initially added for tracking voiceovers and music for television, radio and corporate video..
Both my parents were Democrats, so I grew up as a Democrat... but during the Reagan administration, I found that my beliefs were consistent with conservative principles. Business school helped me to understand how the economic policy of lower taxes and smaller government is good for the economy -- and for ALL Americans. I have been a proud Republican ever since.

It would be great to meet others who play instruments and have similar musical interests. I also enjoy the company of those who share my conservative Christian views. Mostly I just want to meet people who are compassionate, forgiving and humble.

Riding my vintage racing bike around Stone Mountain (several times a week). Weightlifting, playing my guitars and drums...watching classic movies...and watching cable news (I'm a news junkie). I also love sports...football, baseball, basketball, tennis, etc.

My interests center around art, music, sports and fitness. I grew up on the classic rock music of the 70's. I've seen many classic rock 'n roll groups in concert during their heyday... Led Zeppelin, Edgar Winter, Allman Brothers, Yes, Aerosmith, Grand Funk, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, BB King, The Who, Peter Frampton, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, etc., etc.
While I've played drums since early high school, I learned guitar a few years ago and I play my guitar(s) almost every day in my studio.
As an artist, I draw and paint, but work professionally as an Art Director. I do graphic design and some illustrations and 3d modeling, etc.. I do photo retouching and some paintings for gifts, etc.
As a writer, I write marketing plans, media rationales as well as doing copywriting for ads and corporate brochures, etc. I also write a blog on the creative process.
I have served in the past as a volunteer as a technical director, cameraman and producer for a "mega-church" that has an international television ministry. I also do video editing and camera both professionally and for friends and family -- weddings, birthdays, etc. I have done several wedding videos for my nieces and nephews.

Mostly classic rock and blues.. Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, BB King, Buddy Guy, Aerosmith, etc., etc. The list goes on and on... I have wide musical tastes though and believe there is good music in every genre.

American Idol. American Movie Classics, TV Land, Animal Planet... Hannity & Colmes, O'Reilly...

Casablanca, The Great Escape, Run Silent, Run Deep, Smokey and the Bandit, Cool Hand Luke, The Sting, Titanic any old war movie, especially those involving submarines... and any movie with Audrey Hepburn...or Steve McQueen...

That would have to be the Bible. I love to read and there are so many good books it is difficult to pick a favorite.

"If it weren't for Christians, I'd probably be one." -- Ghandi

Jesus Christ. US Servicemen, teachers, nurses. Anyone who shows humility in service to others.
