  • All you really need to know about Barack Obama - Obama took a 3.5 million dollar home loan from a rich Iraqi living in Great Britain: check out this quote from the London Times:

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/...

    "A British-Iraqi billionaire lent millions of dollars to Barack Obama's fundraiser just weeks before an imprudent land deal that has returned to haunt the presidential contender, an investigation by The Times discloses.

    The money transfer raises the question of whether funds from Nadhmi Auchi, one of Britain’s wealthiest men, helped Mr Obama buy his mock Georgian mansion in Chicago.

    A company related to Mr Auchi, who has a conviction for corruption in France, registered the loan to Mr Obama's bagman Antoin "Tony" Rezko on May 23 2005. Mr Auchi says the loan, through the Panamanian company Fintrade Services SA, was for $3.5 million.

    Three weeks later, Mr Obama bought a house on the city's South Side while Mr Rezko's wife bought the garden plot next door from the same seller on the same day, June 15.

    Mr Obama says he never used Mrs Rezko's still-empty lot, which could only be accessed through his property. But he admits he paid his gardener to mow the lawn.

    Mrs Rezko, whose husband was widely known to be under investigation at the time, went on to sell a 10-foot strip of her property to Mr Obama seven months later so he could enjoy a bigger garden.

    Mr Obama now admits his involvement in this land deal was a “boneheaded mistake”.

    Mrs Rezko’s purchase and sale of the land to Mr Obama raises many unanswered questions.

    It is unclear how Mrs Rezko could have afforded the downpayment of $125,000 and a $500,000 mortgage for the original $625,000 purchase of the garden plot at 5050 South Greenwood Ave.

    In a sworn statement a year later, Mrs Rezko said she got by on a salary of $37,000 and had $35,000 assets. Mr Rezko told a court he had "no income, negative cash flow, no liquid assets, no unencumbered assets [and] is significantly in arrears on many of his obligations."

    Mrs Rezko, whose husband goes on trial on unrelated corruption charges in Chicago on March 3, refused to answer questions about the case when she spoke by telephone to The Times."

We had a similar occurrence here in Colorado in the 2004 election - thousands of bogus voter registration forms were turned in by firms working under contract with the Democratic Party in one suburban Denver county alone. The registrar of voters in that county sent the forms on to the state attorney general Ken Salazar for prosecution. Salazar was then running for US Senate as a Democrat (and won), and took no prosecutorial action before or after the election; neither did he ask for investigations into the situation. Salazar is now one of Colorado's US Senators.

    Coincidence? Collusion? Who knows?

    My guess would be Marxism all dressed up to go to Washington, and an unquenchable drive to dominate everyone who isn't him.

    Oh, yes, let's don't forget an urge to wreak vengence on the Caucasian race for still existing.

    McCain has been more than forthcoming about where his support is coming from.
    Obama doesn't seem to want us to know.

    As I've said - Obama's a crook. He's the Richard M. Nixon of the Democratic Party, right down to the skulduggery, the electoral engineering, and the intimidation of critics. Just think of what he'll do if he's elected President.

  • +8 raves Obama's a crook and a liar. He takes money from shady foreigners and said his gun control ... Obama's a crook and a liar.

    He takes money from shady foreigners and said his gun control plan was "commonsense regulations."

    What he can't publicly admit is that many of the people who elected him to the Senate can't be trusted with firearms, so he thinks all of US must all be treated as though we can't be trusted with firearms.

    I think that if the folks of Illinois who sent Obama to the Senate can't be trusted to own firearms safely, we should simply let their politicians turn the state into our national prison colony until the voters of Illinois change their minds.

    Obama's out of tune with the Supreme Court and the US Constitution.

    Did I mention he's a crook?

    I favor a ten-point plant to abolish his campaign:

    (1) put him in jail for graft;

    (2) put him in jail for graft;

    (3) put him in jail for graft;

    (4) put him in jail for graft;

    (5) put him in jail for graft;

    (6) put him in jail for graft;

    (7) put him in jail for graft;

    (8) put him in jail for graft;

    (9) put him in jail for graft;

    (10) keep him in jail for graft until he is a very old man.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

    this morning, it has been restored - references and everything. I'll continue to watch this page and monitor it for changes as time goes on.

    I don't ask that wikipedia.org deviate from its declared policy of neutrality - either for or against the subject of an article, or the people who may be connected to the subject of an article (as seems to have been the case today). What was said in the article originally was documented in the references which accompanied it (I checked each article to verify this for myself).

    When any journal or online news resource submits to politically-motivated censorship, it loses moral legitimacy. Fortunately, someone at wikipedia agreed with me, apparently.

    Is that all there is to this poll? SHEESH.

    Now, if you REALLY want my opinion, we were doing the fist bump in 2001 when Bush sent the Green Berets in to run the Taliban out of Afghanistan and try to kill bin Laden. ALL of us.

    In other words, it's caught on already. You can relax.
