About Me

I have two daughters and 4 grandchildren. One grandson that I have raised,he will be 21 in May. He has brought me a lot of joy,even though some of those teen age years,left me exhausted.Family is my top priority. My father was a coalminer. We moved to Oregon in 1957,with 12 siblings and one on the way. On that trip there were three extra people. One was an Aunt and there were two friends. daddy had one car and one of the friends had the second car. 17 people in all,in 2 cars. One car pulled a little trailer that carried our belongings,which didn't amount to much. We slept in parks and ate a lot of sandwiches. It took 5 days to make that trip. I was almost 12 at the time and spent most of the trip on the floorboard. I'm glad I was just a kid at the time,that was the first car my dad ever owned and I just thought it was quite an adventure.

Reading...working in my yard....going to tractor pulls with my husband...listening to country and christian music....my doggies and my family,especially my mom and my special needs brother. I also love butterflies and have many interesting items I've bought or gifts I've recieved with butterflies on them.
