    +2 raves I'm really kind of torn on this issue. On the one hand, when the woman said, "I do"... I'm really kind of torn on this issue. On the one hand, when the woman said, "I do" it is reasonable to believe that, at least in most cases, she was consenting to sex with her husband and it seems that her family agrees with that. On the other hand, like several others have pointed out, she's comatose so how can she give consent? But, if that's what gets you off, I guess, since they are married, it's really up to the husband, sick as it may seem.

    As a matter of law, my guess would be that the man has an inferred right to have sexual contact with his wife unless she actually says, "No." They are married, after all. This is just another example of the government getting involved in the private lives of it's citizens, a place where it has no business.     (more)

    +6 raves While it is nice to know more than one language, making it a requirement for employment in the US... While it is nice to know more than one language, making it a requirement for employment in the USA is unacceptable. If people want to retain their own language when they immigrate to the USA, that's fine but they must learn English if they plan on staying here.

    My wife and her family immigrated to the USA many years ago and she is not only fluent in English, but also Italian and Spanish as well. When people come up to her speaking Spanish, she ignores them and finds that most of them CAN actually speak English when they have to. This just reinforces my theory that these people just want us to convert to their language instead of them learning ours.

    I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you immigrate to another country, you are declaring your desire to become a citizen of that country. As such, it is YOUR responsibility to learn the language of that country and to assimilate to the culture. If you don't feel that you want to, for what ever reason, then you can move right back to wherever you came from and retain your own culture and language. If a person moves to Canada, they are required to learn both English AND French since those are the official languages of Canada. If you want to immigrate to Italy, you learn Italian, France-French, Germany-German, so why has it become OPTIONAL to learn English when people immigrate, legally or illegally, to The United States of America? It's time we take our country back from the invaders that refuse to respect our culture, diversity and language. We didn't move to their country, they came to ours so, why then must we learn THEIR language to retain employment in OUR country?     (more)

    +4 raves I believe part of it is that, by name calling, labeling and cursing, it lowers the stature of the... I believe part of it is that, by name calling, labeling and cursing, it lowers the stature of the person being attacked in the eyes of the attacker. A prime example of this would be the school yard bully who belittles his/her victims by calling them names. As people become adults, this tends to also be used as a defense mechanism in an argument to boost the standing of the attacker in the absence of valid evidence to back their point, you vomittous pool of phlegm. On Soda Head, you will find that, not only will you be called names, you worthless pile of mongoose excrement, but people will down-rave you just because they disagree with you, you scruffy looking nerfherder. Then, to top it off, they will go through many of your previous posts and down-rave you there, too. Ask me how I know.

    You have a couple of choices; one, stop coming to SodaHead so you don't have to put up with the name calling and cursing, two, learn to ignore the ignoramuses who resort to such tactics, or three, lower yourself to their standards and call them names back, you festering ball of puss.

    P.S. The little jabs throughout were just a joke, you said you have a sense of humor, you slimy trail of slug excrement! ;-)     (more)

Both of our Senators have continually refused to listen to the concerns of their constituency and have voted completely opposite of what "We, The People" have told them we wanted from them. Both Democrats and Republicans are fed up with the poor job that our two Senators, Dick Durbin and Barrack Obama, have done. They have voted the same on every issue and refuse to do anything about illegal immigration, regardless of the continued concerns and protests from the legal, tax-paying citizens in their state. They both need to go! (more)

    +5 raves I don't agree with it because it is a mis-statement. The actual saying is "The LOVE of money is t... I don't agree with it because it is a mis-statement. The actual saying is "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil." Somewhere along the lines it lost part of the sentence and people have been saying it without love for quite a while and use that to decry all things that have to do with money and making it. Money is just a tool, if you have more tools, you can build a better house and help others build theirs. So there is nothing inherently wrong with money. It's when you love nothing else that there is a problem. (more)

I'm always taking pictures of my girls (they're 8 and 13 now). It's truly sad that our world has come to this because our justice system has become so overwhelmed. It just seems that the bad folks have made everybody to appear to be the enemy and the media overload makes it seem so much more prevalent than I think it truly is. (more)

Why, global warming should be really evident these past few weeks with all of the ice storms and below normal temperatures (please note the HEAVY amount of sarcasm). Only Global warming could be causing such things and only man could possibly be responsible for the Global warming!
