+4 raves Be there as a kid not his watchdog or his keeper. He needs to be the Dad. It isn't your job o... Be there as a kid not his watchdog or his keeper. He needs to be the Dad. It isn't your job or duty to take care of him. Work together but don't let him put too much of the burden on you.
Find ways for him to give you advice and be the Dad, ask for input on things....help him get his confidence in his own judgment back. Breakups make people wonder what they were thinking by the choices they made in the past....be the kid but it will really help him if you 'let' him be there for you in positive ways.
Discuss things about the household and try not to bring up stuff like "mom would have done" this or that, try to keep stuff positive. (more)

+8 raves Obama holds nothing sacred...he has a definate anti-American agenda. How sad will be the day when... Obama holds nothing sacred...he has a definate anti-American agenda. How sad will be the day when all his supporters wake up and realize they sold us all to the highest bidder for a personal check. How cheap are they selling us for? A couple grand and you too can buy off a democracy. It is breaking my heart that they just will not wake up to Obama's true agenda of breaking down all the barriers to turning us all in socialist/communists...even after the examples of the USSR and Cuba. Both failed in their own way trying to redistribute wealth but none of the Obama supporters know a thing about history, I guess.

I truly love this country and am so scared the damage being done will become unrepairable if Obama is elected. We are a democracy....not socialist. It seems many, many people would rather have a handout than a hand up. (more)
