    And just to point out the total irony here:

    Why do these people use adjectives to describe themselves so often?

    Now my essay on Europe:

    In 1945 we rid our continent of the scourge of fascism and pledged to build a new land, where people are judged not on the colour of their skin, not on the church they go to, but on their character. We vowed to set aside the petty differences between each other that had plagued the land for millenia and work together for once. We sweared democracy and equality for all. We built a free trade network from the ground up, bringing prosperity to all, and setting us on the road to being a united economic powerhouse. We stood together and said "no!" to militarism, and to this date there is no, and no plans for, an "EU armed forces". Europe has a motto. It goes "United in Diversity". It means that no matter what your origins are, what ethnicity, faith, gender, language, nationality, anything, it doesn't matter - it doesn't take away from our resolve to work together for the benefit of all.

    If you ask me, that's a much better philosophy than America's every-man-for-himself dream. gender language nationality resolve work benefit philosophy americas every-man-for-himself dream     (more)

This is in contrast to, for example, Ireland - equally if not worse hit by the economic downturn - where on the recent Lisbon Treaty referendum both the government and opposition parties all banded together to push for a positive outcome.     +92 raves "Inhuman" - Humans do it, therefore it is human. "Unnatural" - Animals do it... "Inhuman" - Humans do it, therefore it is human.
    "Unnatural" - Animals do it, and it is illogical, captain, to assume that one would chose a lifestyle that casts them out of mainstream society of one's own accord, implying it is not a choice, but part of their nature, therefore it is natural.
    "Inhumane" - If it's two consenting adults, then there's nothing inhumane about it. That's what sets homosexuality apart from paedophilia, bestiality and other such practices - consent.
    "Unhealthy" - compare the average gay guy to Rush Limbaugh and say that again.     (more)
