He can sing high or low, and slow or fast. No matter what he always delivers!!! James Hetfield is not the greatest singer but he is a one man band and a legend and as long as Kirk Hammett and Lars Ulrich are by his side Metallica will always be a force to be reckoned with. Corey Taylor simply screams too much and I personally cannot understand a damn word he says. Howard Jones screams alot too but I can understand him a little easier and he combines relentless sounding screams with a melody.. Sully Erna is good but I think that he only sounds better than average with a heavier sounding guitar riff behind him like on Faceless. M. Shadows sounds to whiney for me. Jaonathan Davis and Dave Mustaine just sound weird. Feel free to comment, I am interested in everybodies opinion.
---No criticizing other peoples opinion, All of these indivduals are good singers and all have their apparent strengths and weaknesses. I am a huge Metallica, Disturbed, and Killswitch Engage fan and I really don't care for Slipknot but I will not go out and say they suck. Think what you want in your own mind but keep negative opinions to yourself.---
