About Me
Jazz.
The airwaves seem to be festooned with criminal procedural dramas. I like a few of them. And Eureka. And one or two others. Warehouse 13 makes me yearn for the old Friday the 13th tv show.
Dambusters, Sink the Bismark, The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), The Lives of Others, Mostly Martha (the original that No Reservations copied), Greed, The Big Clock, Twelve Angry Men (Henry Fonda), Dinner for 8, The Thin Man, The Maltese Falcon, Rear Window, North by Northwest, Some Like it Hot, Project Eden, Kaze No Tani No Nausicaa, Porco Rosso, Majo No Takkybuin, City Lights, Modern Times, Smile Pinki, and too many to list here.
Winston Churchill's History of WWII, Fast Food Nation, Harry Potter (all 7), Lord of the Rings, In Defense of Food, The Omnivore's Dilemma, Diet for a Small Planet, the Last Place on Earth, Shackleton,
"All men dream, but not equally, Those who dream at night in the dusty recesses of their minds will wake in the day and find it vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous, for they will act their dreams with open eyes to make them possible" T.E. Lawrence

What is worse is that they show their ignorance as a badge of honor. And get all pissy when it is pointed out to them. Third grade might have been the best four years of their lives but that does not give them the right to be proud of it. (more) -

Sometimes the other areas like Sports and Technology are littered with RWNJ questions about anything other than the topic. What's really bad are the moderators, administrators and owners who lurk in those areas and the rest of SH. They are right leaning if not leaned all the way over. It's difficult to tell the owner that he's full of BS on a topic knowing that he could just DA you because he realizes that he is full of BS. (more) -

Once they engage in political action they are not separating themselves from the state but are in fact trying to influence the state. And therefore should lose that tax free status.
The last time a church was involved with running the state was in 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts. We know how that turned out. (more) -
