I said 'what, after I done bust my ass all day for this little piece of change you want me to give it to you?" He said "shut up and give me that money." I grabbed the gun with one hand twisting it away from me and toward the ground and started wailing away on his face with my free fist. After about 7 or 8 punches he let go of the gun and took off running.
I say young and dumb because it hit me later... that dude could have shot me. But... I'm still here and got a free gun out of it. lol (more) -

+3 raves I never knew there was such a policy. I've been to school with four different sets of twins.... I never knew there was such a policy. I've been to school with four different sets of twins. One set in elementary school, one in middle school and two in high school. They all attended the same class and I never saw any problem with it. The ones in high school we asked about it and both sets said they liked being in the same class and doing things together. I would leave it up to the kids, if they want to be in separate classes them let them. (more) -

A study done in the 80s showed that if we went to a flat tax across the board eliminating all the loop holes and breaks, we could have went a 10% flat tax we would not only have been operating with an annual surplus, in 10 years would have paid off the national debt. 2. Make SS off limits to anything but SS programs. I was in the military during the Regan years. Regan wanted to tap into the military retirement fund but couldn't. The account also has a surplus of funds in it. I got involved in the reporting process as Regan wanted to know why there was so much money in the account. When the fund was set up a key provision of the act stated that the fund could only be used for the purpose it was established for; military retirement pay.
Number 2 would be a good solution as we pay a separate Social Security and Medicare tax so, the taxes paid into those funds should only be used for those purposes just as the military retirement account can only be used to for military retirement expenditures. But number 1 would also force fiscal responsible on the president and congress. (more) -

The people that cry liberally biased media are simply people that can't stand the truth. Truth is most of the media are conservative Republican supporters. The one on network shows have to be impartial in their reporting. The other's, the syndicated shows, I don't watch because you know what you'll get, slanted crap. Plus I know of McCain's shady dealings. Liddy, Keating and other scandalous associations. (more)
