I'm a perpetual groupie! I love the little unknown bands that play locally, like MCP, the band my husband is in and Reflections, A Jerry Garcia tribute band that includes my friend and incredible bass player,John Cassano. When I'm at home I like sitting back and listening to things that friends record and burn for me. Like the stuff my friend Jay gives me which he cleverly calls "Sink Full of Dishes"
I also love cooking! Food, being one of the main things that keep us alive, should be more then just a source of nutrition. It should be a party in your mouth every time you lift your fork. I'm happiest when I'm watching people enjoy a meal I've created. Being able to take simple ingredients and making it into something my friends and family like to eat makes the hours of prep work fun.

Politics is something I follow closely but since I don't really see eye to eye with many of my friends you'll rarely ever hear me talk about it. I'm sure many of them think I'm politically uniformed but that's OK. I love these people and like not having those conflicts.

Giving blood is also something I believe more people should do. I'm more vocal on that subject with people in general. I try to give blood once a month. I became aware of how important giving blood was when I was 19 and had 75% of my blood replaced. They used their last unit of AB+ on me that day. I found out that less then 3% of the population able to donate does.

My most recent involvement is with volunteering for the Red Cross. It gives me a chance to help others and be around positive people looking to do the same.

There are so many, many people I'd love to meet, but if I needed I pick one,it would be someone like Sean Hannity. He's someone I love watching and feel he gives me insights on things I like to know more about. He also seems like a person I could kick back and enjoy a beer with.

Music, Cooking, Art, Politics... That's such an open ended thing, I'm interested in everything and their importance varies day to day.
