It is necessary for us veterans to have a voice> Senator Obama listens. McCain is strangely against helping his fellow countrymen and women. I find it most curious and disturbing. (more)

There is no excuse when you decide to put it down in type - as well as have the ability to edit. In fact it is ridiculous to even ask since you really couldn't care less. It's your freedom, but this was better off as a reply. That's my opinion - and my freedom. I'll rave you because you're new, but just a note, this same thing is posted almost verbatim over a years worth of blogs. Perhaps you can think of something more original in your quest to make America a corporate fascist state. (more)

Her attempt to cover her tracks while continuing to court the favors of Bob Lester are at least as critical as anything they would pin to Obama and his supposed questionable associations and therefore deserve at least the same scrutiny.

And it's just like that don't you know?

  • +2 raves Racism doesn't come on and shut off. You can't be a little racist or racist on a bad day.... Racism doesn't come on and shut off. You can't be a little racist or racist on a bad day. Racism is an active process, a mind set, incorporated into daily life believing you are better than someone else, not feeling it, not being angry, just being convinced of the simple idea. It can be a profoundly unconscious and passive activity or a quite deliberate continual execution.

For example: And I use housing and neighborhoods because they are one of the most visible constructs of Racism, yet strangely the most denied...

...a group of one race cannot tolerated the arrival of another into their neighborhood so they pull up stakes and take their capital goods and services with them denying the new arrivals the opportunity to have the ease of living in the same ways they did.

They head out with their resources into an enclave were they believe they can live in homogeneous bliss. That is deliberate, active racism.

Two, three generations later the enclave remains the same, but the progeny have no clue as to how things came to be as they are. They simply know they would not dare live where the other group lives for all types of extraneous reasons passed down from the previous generations - no goods and services, sub standard housing, et al, most of which (unknown to the third or forth generation) were brought on as a result of the first groups forefathers abrupt movement and the persistent perennial refusal to reinvest into the old neighborhood.

This is passive racism unwittingly validating living breathing racist ideology that began with the first group.

One is not worse than the other.

  • +7 raves How interesting that McCain picks a running mate in the midst of an investigation.

I mentioned this in an earlier comment, but there nothing like getting the facts straight from the horses mouth.

He is, to his credit, looking more fit than when he started campaigning this go round, he's lost weight and his moves are more fluid. Perhaps he's gotten more holistic in his approach to joint health. Yet, as president he will most assuredly be a puppet in the hands of an aggressive global agenda that will change the political structure of this country forever.

He is a warrior. This is his best, most prominent asset and one he is aching (literally) to execute. A warmonger and a corporate fascist.
And this is coming through loud and clear in is posturing toward Russia.

We're being led to believe that all aggression should be matched with aggression and of course he is the best aggressor, the most experienced fighter available to lead us, saber in hand, through a hostile world.

Many pro-McCain pundits and polity are salivating at the opportunity Russia has presented to the McCain Campaign to make the case for the need of a military man in the oval office.

I predict that whether McCain gets in office or not his aggressive behavior towards our enemies will escalate, all the more should he become Supreme Commander of the United States. We will have a leader little different from a General Musharraf or a Chavez.

McCain will lead us precipitously into a military state where global corporations call the shots over national interests.

If McCain becomes president there will be no more Democratic elections. This is the last hurrah, as America gets what she's asking for. Truly a time when evil will be called good and good called evil.
