About Me
I am 60, and a great grandma twice. I grew up in Chicago, and now live out west for the last 35 years. I am Caucasion and Native American. I put 'other' on my profile because It did not give me an option for both and I dislike picking one race and leaving the other behind. I am a gun toting, meat eating, flaming Liberal and have been for a long, long time. I have a placard on my desk I picked up at the Mark Twain Museum in Hannible, Mo. It says "Nothing so needs reforming as other peoples habits" I like it alot, since so often I see folks trying to change others. I love philosophical discussions and I am a content atheist. And have been for over 50 years. I truly enjoy folks that can disagree with out being disagreable. Take Care :)

Anyone that can think, beyond the 'bumper sticker' slogans to reslove an issue.
Activities:
I play music. Harmonicas, Fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin and banjo uke.
Interests:
Genealogy, writing, music, politics, beadwork.
Favorite Music:
Old time fiddle music and Country from the 1930's thu 1960's.
Favorite TV Shows:
I don't find violence, rape, torture, victimization of women or other folks having sex to be entertainment. So that pretty much leaves me with the Animal channel and project runway, with a dash of so called 'news' thrown in.
Favorite Movies:
I really like documentaries.
Favorite Books:
Anything written by Tolstoy, Hemmingway, Twain, Dostovsky, Faulkner and Mitchner.
Favorite Quotes:
Instead of being born again, why don't you just freaking Grow UP!!
Favorite Heroes:
Real everyday people that get off their dead butts and go out and make a difference.

Hey Molly!
Just wanted to say thanks for the raves. I hope you have a great Labor Day. We've got a little ol' hurricane blowin' in . But here's hoping it leaves me alone. I'm a pro musician. I love most styles. But I really love Country and Bluegrass. I'm a singer songwriter. I play guitar. I haven't had much luck finding a music player that will allow me to upload my own tunes. That also works on Sodahead. But if you want to click the link and go to my facebook profile page. There's a band tab at the top of the page where you'll find a music player with my stuff on it. Well actually only one is an original (The Heaven In My Woman's Eyes) the others are tribute cover tunes. I'm a big Ralph Stanley fan. I like Allison Krause too. We've got a Bluegrass show every Sunday (central time) on KPFT Houston TX . They stream it so you could check it out. I never miss it. Alot of those old bluegrass tunes are pretty religious. I don't know how you can stand it Molly. But you know, if it wasn't for folks like me, you wouldn't have something not to believe in! Just messin' with you. Have a good one.
