  • Hey, thanks for the kind words! Yeah, I'm praying that Connor will see God's truth someday. I have an agnostic friend who I convinced to come to church with me the other day, but traffic was terrible when we went to pick him up, all of the streets going to his house were blocked off, and I ended up not being able to bring him, and missing half an hour of church! But I'm going to try again, my church is very welcoming and friendly (as I suppose most churches are!) So hopefully God will show my friend his love and wisdom. But I doubt that evil is actually an entity, or a physical being. I think God created evil, because we need to experience both torment and peace in this world to know which to accept... Does that make sense? I think my wording is a little bad.

I was delivered from cigarettes by God 25 yrs. ago, He took it away completely, I could not quit. But when God took them I had no withdrawal not even a cough! It was like I had never smoked. I have never desired them since. (more)

The Lord said we are to be good stewards of what we have...so we need to be responsible for our things and take care of everything to make life better for the next generation..the Bible says to live as if the Lord was coming back today but also live as if we were going to be here forever...this isn't a contradiction..it just means to live upright whether for one day or for many years...take nothing for granted..we are not promised a tomorrow. I was a free wheeling little kid...loved my banana seated stingray bike, my Knockers (two balls you hit together on a string) twister game, American Bandstand, women all wore dresses, we all had supper as a family every night, watched Leave it to Beaver, Andy Griffith, Laugh In, Ed Sullivan, went to church every Sunday and always visited family for Sunday dinners following church. Grew up knowing all my relatives because we visited them and they us. (more)

I have no fear of death...really I don't...I once got involved at a shopping mall with a black woman and her husband..the Lord told me to though..she was trying to call the police when the Lord told me to go ask her if she needed help...at the time I didn't know she calling the cops..her husband was standing right there and I stepped in front of him and asked her .if she needed help..she asked me to take her and her 2 kids to the police station..which I did....this woman had just gotten saved 2 weeks before this happened and she had asked God to help her when her husband showed up and took her car keys and started in on her..the Lord is so awsome.... Full service gas stations..if you have car trouble now good luck finding help...I miss stores being closed on Sundays and Holidays ..I miss good decent TV programs with no cussing ....I miss women wearing dresses the majority of the time..I grew up when all girls had to wear dresses to school ect..wouldn't want that again but women need to dress more conservatively again..more feminine...miss families being together or visiting like they use to...mine still does but there are many that don't even know their families...miss the media not trashing everyone...and decent celebrities that kept their noses cleaner in public..miss everyone going to church..most people went to some church when I grew up..now few go regularly or at all.
