Current prosecuting attorney, former public defender, future [down the road] criminal defense attorney. Am the mother of two young, wonderful, kind, brilliant, beautiful daughters, ages 8 and 4. Also, depending on whether one counts dating, living-in, or marital anniversaries, I've been with my husband respectively 21 years, 15 years, or 10 1/2 years! My mother's people were Norwegian immigrants who settled in Minnesota and included both a father and son who fought with Sherman in the Civil War, and her father (my Grandpa Ole) who helped start the Farmer Laborite Movement during the Great Depression. My Dad's people were Russian Jews escaping from Czarist-era Russia and anti-Semitic pogroms there.
