About Me

I am a limited government kind of guy. I love economics.I have very little in common with big government neocons, (redefined) modern-liberals and progressives. I want nothing to do with left wing, big government,
Statism, socialism, National Socialism (Nazism), Fascism, Communism, etc. Anything oppressive to the individual and economic freedoms and liberties is a what i consider LEFT WING. I guess if I will label myself it would be something like a conservative libertarian or a classical liberal. Our country has become polarized by individual rights vs the mob rights. I will help to preserve individual rights because there is no smaller minority than the individual. You cant claim to be a protector of minorities if you deny individual rights.

To sum up my base stance:
Fiscally- ultra conservative
Monetarily- Misesian/Austrian- Classical/new classical
Economically- Ultra liberal (hands off the market)
Socially- libertarian or classically liberal

I am not a "social liberal" as that is the new liberal.

I am a government skeptic. I listen to all sides but i usually put more weight on the skeptical side. Before i turn my liberties and freedoms over to someone else (government), I must see the skeptic side, such as the reviews or the complaints. I do the same before any purchase i make to help my decisions. I love to be voluntarily generous. I want to rebel when anything is forced on me because I have a very hard time with authority. I always wanted to be independent and self reliant. I did tedious jobs as a kid. I got my first real job at 14 and have been working ever since. job to job, ladder to ladder, and some small self employment extras.

"There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes to enslave men by force, socialism - by vote. It is merely the difference between murder and suicide." -Ayn Rand-

"Every government interference in the economy consists of giving an unearned benefit, extorted by force, to some men at the expense of others.” -Ayn Rand-

“The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities.” -Ayn Rand-

The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of the blessings. The inherent blessing of socialism is the equal sharing of misery.
-Winston Churchill-

"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." -- Abraham Lincoln-

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” -Thomas Jefferson

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." - Thomas Jefferson-

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson-

Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.
-P.J. O'Rourke, Civil Libertarian

No man's life, liberty, or property is safe while the legislature is in session.
-Mark Twain (1866)

As the Socialist Party candidate for president, Norman Thomas said
in a 1944 speech: "The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." He went on to say: "I no longer need to run as a presidential candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democratic Party has adopted our platform."

"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." - Ben Franklin.-

A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.
- George Bernard Shaw -

“When we call a capitalist society a consumers' democracy we mean that the power to dispose of the means of production, which belongs to the entrepreneurs and capitalists, can only be acquired by means of the consumers' ballot, held daily in the marketplace.” - Ludwig von Mises-

"To the grumbler who complains about the unfairness of the market system only one piece of advice can be given: If you want to acquire wealth, then try to satisfy the public by offering them something that is cheaper or which they like better....Equality under the law gives you the power to challenge every millionaire." -Ludwig von Mises

I have nothing against immigration as long as they go through the same legal process as the others. Breaking the law and gaining employment is a kick in the fact to the legal citizens and those going through the immigration process the legal way. I know several people that would take any job. Hold the individuals and employers accountable. (more)

Though I do find something interesting about 2012 other than the Mayans and some Chinese both predicted the date. It is something that only happens about every 26,000 years. Its the perfect alignment with the milky way. I do not know what it means. Doomsday? maybe not but what impact will that have on us? I really dont know...if anything. It is interesting nonetheless.

    Lets ask the founder himself.

He demonized ethnic groups as enemies of the state, censored the press, imprisoned dissidents, bullied political opponents, spewed propaganda, often expressed contempt for the Constitution, approved warrantless searches and eavesdropping, and pursued his policies with a blind, religious certainty.

Bantam said the rest but I will list them as well.
The income tax, the Federal Reserve monopoly, and WWI

Justly revered as our great Constitution is, it could be stripped off and thrown aside like a garment, and the nation would still stand forth in the living vestment of flesh and sinew, warm with the heart-blood of one people, ready to recreate constitutions and laws. ... Woodrow Wilson

There are claims that Irving Kristol is the father of Neoconservatism and that it started in the 60s as a bunch of Liberals who were unhappy with Liberalism and became conservatives but since they were a new kind of conservative they were called neoconservatives. I believe they coined the phrase themselves.

It is typically a very internationally interventionist ideology to spread democracy.

Their low prices increase peoples purchasing power and raise their standard of living. I see that as a good thing, especially for the poor. Would you rather they raise their prices and lower peoples purchasing power and standard of living? Not sure that will help the middle and lower classes ...

They have also given almost 2 billion in bonuses to employees last year. It averaged almost 1k per employee.

If you dont like them, you are free to shop elsewhere, that is a consumers democracy.
