To perform their constitutional duties , the federal government doesn't need any income tax of any sort. It was only after the civil war that the federal government expanded it's authority ( without consent of the governed ) and started its entitlement mentality and enslavement of the people to the district of columbia . F D Roosevelt in the 30's further expanded this destructive venture with the introduction of the confiscation of true money ( the constitution states that only gold and silver are allowed to be used as legal currency ) , federal reserve and IRS which is the only reason that the present income tax is in place. The income tax has Nothing to do with the daily needs of running the federal government . All it does is pay usery on the money created by the federal reserve . The federal reserve and the income tax only serves to create more debt. A debt that can never be paid as long as the currency of the nation is the federal reserve note. Debt paper cannot be used to pay off debt . -
