On politics, I am an Independent with mostly Conservative views but I do agree with the liberals on some things.

Yes I have heard of all of them and I am a record collector and I have most of their records. I grew up on Motown. Great music! Love it! I love Chuck Berry, James Brown, Little Richard, Ray Charles, Marva & the Vandelas, Tina Turner and Ikettes (saw them in person) fantastic!

YW... I was raised in a very racist, bigoted family. I was always ashamed of their ideals and promised myself that I would not be a part of that group. I raised my children not to think of color but just people. Liberal people, free thinking and generous/helpful to people in need.
SH is really shocking in the fact that there is so much hate from the cons. I've never seen anything like it. You have a great future if you want it and work for it. I think it takes common sense, willing to sacrifice and give when necessary.. You're a bright young woman and I'm sure you'll achieve your goals. Be patient, don't become bitter from all the hate you see. Just consider them very unhappy people and be thankful you aren't like them..
As far as you not wanting children, I think I would feel the same with the world the way it is. Very unfair to kids nowadays. I feel for every young person and what they have to face. It was much easier back in my day.. Stay strong and you'll make it..
