About Me
Worked all my life at manual labor. Was a worker, then a foreman, and later a manager in the tire industry retreading for Bandag and Goodyear. Had other jobs throughout the years. Now I am broken down and disabled, after having several operations on feet, knees, and back. Have metal bolts, rods, plates, and a bone fusion in my back even today.

So you stand by 100% of the 99% are lazy and are looking for hand outs and 0% of the 1% earned everything by sheer will, talent, innovation, and intelligence - and there is not chance that of the 99% that just maybe, the only thing preventing them from actualizing their own self expression is the market condition where those with the equity control the means and modes of product as well as pulling the strings of government in their favor (Citizens United)? Lobby is a myth? Lobbist only lobby when paid huge sums of money? The voiceless, faceless nameless have a seat at the table? An idea and passion will never meet the full force of market forces beyond their comprehension?

forgot to mention that the skin of the fish stayed in the clay (mud) and it was like eating the fish off of a stoneware plate.

Well, I have gone on many fishing and/or hunting trips which included overnight campouts, and as a matter of fact, one of my favorite ways to fix fish was to do just what you said. Only difference was that I made up some mud and after the fish were gutted and scaled (not filleted), I enclosed the fish in mud and then cooked them in the pit. Then, all I had to do was crack the 'pottery' in half, then scoop out the fish meat. If we took some taters and carrots along, they were wrapped in foil and baked with the fish. Sure was tasty that way, especially when some creole seasoning was used.

There ya go... About 2 years ago now, I was w/ some friends down in the Key's and this girl's dad lived right on one of the beaches, And for the weekend party him, her, me and a few others went basically deep sea fishing to get the food for the weekend party.. lol.. that was actually pretty dam fun.. It is something else when u are living down there w/ the "so called Natives" lol, They definitely have there own lifestyle and so forth.. And we went out there at like 6am.. lol and when we got back the neighbor lady had like 10 other ladies there too, the guys dug the pit and the ladies got it all ready w/ like a 150 lb pig wrapped it all up, started a fire in the pit blazing nice and hot and then we buried it all.. I was like WTF r we doing, and at like 8pm unburied it all and at it.. I was like WOW. never had anything like that before.. and when I was talking to that lady who did it all she was telling me that her family has been living on the islands for many generations and that was one of there celebratory traditions ..

Phil, no one on the left is saying we want a deficit but we do want everyone to contribute to paying it down. The 4 major components that led to this mess are:

Thanks for adding me to your list of SodaHead friends.
God bless you,
as for the fishing, South FL and the Keys have awesome fishing, and my uncle could probably tell ya where the best obscure fishing streams are in MI and several other states.. lol.. As for the big buck, I got my 11 pointer in northern MI, just east of Sleeping Bear Dunes...
1. Bush tax cuts
2. The Phama Part D give away that only benefited big Pharma
3. Deregulation of the Banking Industry (End of the Glass Steagall Act)
4. Two endless and needless wars
What Obama is doing does not personally enrich him as the 4 issues above personally benefited members of the GOP who have direct links to all of these industry sectors. He has to do something and by something, we as progressives prefer to spend tax dollars on American Infra structure (schools, roads, hospitals, human capital), not endless wars and the hope that the 1% of this country might drop some crumbs from their fat salava soaked lips onto the floor were the 99% struggle to survive.
If we can agree that the GDP is an important indicator of a healthy economoy then understand the formula- GDP = private consumption + gross investment + government spending + (exports − imports) (notice government spending). If you reduce government spending, you effectively reduce GDP.
