About Me

I live quietly and peacefully. I'm very fortunate in that I can derive much joy out of the little things in life. I take great pride in keeping my home looking good at all times, but I'm not a fanatic about housework (like I used to be). I'm 100% loyal to my friends, and never betray confidences. I get my feelings hurt easily though, even sometimes by people I couldn't care less about, and I wish I could change this about myself.

Activities

Just working around the house since my husband and I retired.

Interests

I LOVE reading, mostly true crime, but I like some fiction and I enjoy poetry. Love surfing the 'net, watching tv, cuddling my 2 cats and spending time with my darling husband, my son and daughter-in-law. Sadly, my DIL suffered a miscarriage at about 3 months. We all mourned this loss deeply.

Have to amend something - sadly, my daughter-in-law had a miscarriage, but the doctors say they can try again; it wasn't genetic. We all went into deep mourning; we'd wanted that child so badly.
